Decide whether to use your legal name, an alias, a face-visible identity or a privacy-first approach before connecting accounts and promotional profiles.
Visual clues
Review tattoos, windows, mirrors, mail, landmarks, uniforms, vehicle plates and recognizable rooms before publishing.
File metadata
Location and device metadata should be reviewed as part of a secure production workflow, while recognizing that screenshots and reposts create separate risks.
Account security
Use unique passwords and multi-factor authentication. Do not share primary credentials casually with photographers, promoters or managers.
Content rights
Understand releases, editing rights, raw-file access, promotional use and what happens to files after a professional relationship ends.
