Know what to bring, how to present yourself and what casting teams need from first-time models.
Confirm the assignment
Read the category, date, location, wardrobe notes and eligibility requirements before attending. Ask questions when the role is vague or conflicts with your boundaries.
Present a usable version of yourself
Choose clean grooming and simple clothing that allows the casting team to see proportions and movement. Bring requested measurements, identification or portfolio material, but do not hand sensitive documents to unverified strangers.
Professional behavior is visible
Arriving on time, listening, adapting and communicating clearly often matter as much as a single photograph. A casting can be brief; brevity is not automatically rejection.
